Once embryos are collected they can either be transferred right away or frozen for later use. We offer embryo freezing and storage services for both conventionally collected and IVF collected embryos.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) in cows and small ruminants (sheep and goats) is a reproductive technology used to fertilize eggs outside the body in a lab setting before implanting the embryos into surrogate mothers. This method accelerates genetic improvement and optimizes breeding outcomes.

Using palpation and ultrasound technology, our veterinarians determines pregnancy stage, estimated calving dates and can also determine fetal sex.

Our donor managers provide proper care and nutrition to ensure your donor cows are set up for success on collection day. We also provide consultation for managing donors on-farm.

Having a quality recipient female is critically important to ensuring a successful transfer. Cross Country Genetics actively consults producers in the management of their recipient programs, with the end goal being conception to calving.
