Thank you, Troy!

After nearly 20 years of service to Cross Country Genetics, our longtime Kansas Donor Manager, Troy Marple, has stepped away from his role at CCG, with May 31 marking his final day.
Troy has been an integral part of our operation and the success of our donor program for nearly two decades. From breeding donors and organizing donor groups to feeding cattle and caring for our facilities, he has dedicated countless days, nights, and weekends to serving our clients and helping CCG grow. His work ethic, commitment to our cattle, and dedication to our clients have left a lasting impact on our team and business.
As Troy begins this next chapter, we are excited for him to focus more fully on his family and the continued growth of their operation, M4 Simmentals. We are incredibly grateful for his years of hard work and dedication and wish him continued success in the years ahead.
New Donor Managers Up and Running
As we look to the future, we are excited to welcome two new Donor Managers to our Kansas clinic team: Nolan Wilborn and Mitchell Stedry. Both have already hit the ground running and are actively learning our systems, donor care protocols, client relationships, and the day-to-day responsibilities of donor cow management at CCG.
Recently, Nolan earned his Master of Science in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences from the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Hoisington, Kansas, Nolan brings valuable hands-on experience in cattle health management and feeding, along with dairy cattle research experience gained through his undergraduate studies in K-State’s Department of Animal Sciences & Industry. He is eager to continue growing within the cattle industry while helping provide exceptional care for our clients’ donor cattle.
Mitchell is a 2025 graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, Mitchell has spent the past year and a half working on both a dairy farm and a local cattle ranch, where he gained practical experience in cattle feeding, herd management, and equipment operation. He is excited to apply that experience to caring for our clients’ donor cows and helping them achieve their genetic goals.
We will be highlighting both new Donor Managers in an employee spotlight soon!
