Who We Are

For more than 30 years, Cross Country Genetics has been the premier provider of quality, customer service-driven bovine reproductive services in Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and surrounding states. At the heart of what we do is a desire to help our customers maximize and achieve success with your specific genetic and production goals. Our team is committed to your success – from conception to calving.

We offer three clinic locations in Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri in addition to on-farm services. No matter your location – the high-quality service you receive remains the same.

Conventional Embryo Collection

Donor cows are superovulated and AI bred using high-quality semen. Embryos are then flushed and collected to be transferred either fresh or frozen for later use.

Embryo Transfer (ET)

Once embryos are collected they can either be transferred right away or frozen for later use. We offer embryo freezing and storage services for both conventionally collected and IVF collected embryos.

IVF / OPU

This involves fertilizing a donor’s eggs outside the body in a controlled laboratory setting after mature, unfertilized eggs (oocytes) are collected from the ovaries. This option allows donors to be collected more frequently, collected while pregnant, and sort semen for gender at the time of fertilization.

Donor Housing & Management

Our donor managers provide proper care and nutrition to ensure your donor cows are set up for success on collection day. We also provide consultation for managing donors on-farm.

Pregnancy Diagnosis

Using palpation and ultrasound technology, our team determines pregnancy stage, estimated calving dates and can also determine fetal sex.

Experienced & Trained Staff

When it comes to investing in your breeding program, it matters who performs the work. Our team of veterinarians are licensed and certified through the American Embryo Transfer Association (AETA). Additionally, many of our team members have personal backgrounds in beef cattle production, bringing both passion and firsthand experience in the beef industry to every client interaction.

Customized Breeding Plan

We work with you to determine the timing and goals of your breeding program and from there develop embryo collection and transfer schedules, provide necessary supplies and offer bull selection strategies if needed. All with your end goal in mind.

Conventional & IVF Options

We specialize in high-success conventional ET and IVF programs, ensuring you get the most from your elite genetics. Both avenues are available at all three locations, as well as on-farm.
